The Role of Deacons
At St. Paul's Reformed Church, the office of Deacon is a ministry of sympathy, witness, and service. Deacons are called to model the compassionate love of Jesus Christ by caring for both the physical and spiritual well-being of our congregation and local community.
Following the biblical pattern established in the early church, our deacons ensure that no one in our church home is left to carry physical burdens, isolation, or financial hardship alone.
Physical & Financial Assistance
Managing the benevolence fund to assist members facing sudden financial hardship, medical bills, or other physical needs in times of distress.
Visitation & Care
Conducting home and hospital visits for the sick, homebound, and elderly to share fellowship, offer encouragement, and pray together.
Service & Hospitality
Overseeing and managing the physical stewardship of our church property and church family.
